It's Worth the Risk
The Right Hand's invasion went awry and the Gladers were captured, as they were essential to the frustrating search for a cure for the Flare. Six months passed and the Cure was finally achieved, but it wasn't made available to everyone, otherwise an old problem would return. It would be too many people for too few supplies. The CCP in partnership with WICKED decides to exterminate Denver from the map, the city that had been taken by the Cranks that would certainly not receive the cure because they were many. Thomas finds out about the plan and doesn't agree with anything, as Newt was in that city and there was a chance he would be alive and be okay when he received the cure. Feeling he owes Newt a lot, he will do anything to rescue his friend.
