Siege Chronicles

The continent of Aden is divided into 7 castles, Aden, Giran, Innadril, Goddard, Gludio, Dion and Oren. Sovereigns command and charge fees for the protection given to each area of towns and villages near their castles, with the exception of Aden, the mainland capital, which commands and receives fees from all castles, with no exceptions. Each castle has its sovereign, a nobleman who must fulfill the duties of protecting the territory and villages, as well as neighboring cities, each castle has its own sovereignty, being independent from each other, maintaining only bonds of loyalty to Aden and his overlord. Clans rise and fall across the land, Clans without allegiance to a castle are called Rebels, but despite such a title their members can roam across the land and into each city without problems. However, a rebel Clan has no land, and must stand alone, with its own resources. However... there is a way for the Rebel Clans to Ascend to the top, without the need for an alliance with a king... Such a means is called Siege, and a king challenged to one cannot refuse to such.

Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor

If you plow the fields, the seeds will sprout and new growth will occur. The land of Aden, once ravaged by these bloodthirsty warlords, has flourished in prosperity. While feudal lords and aged knights, bound by tradition, mourned the collapse of the old order, others aspired to wreak havoc behind the scenes. Traders were willing to placate anyone to make a profit. Sieghardt Ein had been recognized as lord of the castle of Giran, but he did not actually rule over its territory. He ceased to perform the duties of a castle lord, such as collecting taxes or managing the manor. After three months, he abandoned the castle, disappearing with his soldiers. However, the lord who succeeded him was too ambitious. Despite tossing out strong opposition from the Giran traders, he treated the decades-long trade war with Innadril as a purely diplomatic matter. Innadril, the water mansion, had been unable to trade with other territories without first passing through Giran. Now the lord of the house has made a pact with the lord of Giran and trade resumed between the two territories.

Chronicle 1: Harbingers Of War.

Thanks to Cardinal Seresin's efforts, the seeds of trust seem to have finally taken root - if only for a little while. The ominous sense of an approaching crisis was shared by all races. The hell of the war that consumes the whole land has been unleashed in a place no one could have expected - not the frontier regions, nor the cold northern areas where monsters roam, but deep inside the realm of humanity. History is the harshest teacher of stubborn and repeated lessons. Humans seem to need enemies like the air they breathe. If you can't find opponents most likely, they will start to stir around them. Ever since I learned of the disaster at Giran Castle, my teacher's words just follow me, teasing with his wicked sense of wisdom: Since human beings are made of the gods' refusal, they are naturally dirty...
