“It's very difficult to find a story that catches your attention and really involves you, but this fic "Before the Flames" grabbed me right away. In addition to bringing a new perspective, focusing largely on one of Luce's past lives, the author has simple and captivating writing. I was enchanted and can't wait to read the twists and turns that follow. I recommend it to everyone who was moved by the story and the love of Daniel and Lucinda, and to those who, like me, were - for lack of a better word - dissatisfied with the ending of the Fallen series.”
