I don't know if they wanted me there, if I would make any difference or if it was important to make it all work. But I liked it, it felt good to be in that place, amidst the drinks, the cigarettes, the tears and the laughter, even if as an adjunct. I didn't want to sing, I didn't know how to get an A minor with Pansy and I didn't even get close to the sticks, but helping with the costumes and makeup was enough for me.
