Any Armstrong lives in Alaska in the city of Petersburg where the 3,224 inhabitants are a small and quiet town. She lives on a ranch called Heartland, where they tend and train horses, with her grandfather Jack, her mother Jennifer, her six siblings, and an adopted brother Lex. She is a 16 year old girl whose life is turned upside down because in the past, her father Fredd mysteriously leaves the night before her 14th birthday. Nobody knows why she left, and nobody has heard from him since he left. The years passed and two months before her 17th birthday, Any and her family received the news that Fredd had been found dead in Meygo, a distant deserted beach where no one had ever dared to go because of some rumors. that the place is treacherous, as everyone who set foot there never returned.
