Since Eleanor left, nothing has ever been the same. Both follow their lives in different and contradictory ways, not knowing if one day they would meet again, and not knowing if it would be better that way. Park stopped sending letters. Eleanor never got to read them. But Watchmen's last three words in the comics flow with his pent-up hopes: nothing ever ends.
