Synopsis

Words contain within themselves the curious power to store our feelings. They sometimes become guardians of our never-revealed secrets, our silenced pains and our forbidden loves. Words are also an escape. While a Queen suffers from her broken heart, the uncertainty of fate and a love sustained in memories, her words compose letters destined for a Savior who may never receive them. Maybe.

“I don't even know where to start. The first time I heard about these letters, I was on a call with Mirian and she read it to me. Soon after, I was surprised by a very special — and completely unexpected — call and you shared the idea with me, breaking my heart with each new letter. Just now you said that you didn't think it was too sad and I have to disagree. Sadness is, in its various forms, relative. It doesn't have to end in a tragedy to be something sad and, often, it doesn't even need an "unhappy" ending to be sad. Sadness was present in every word of this one, dear. He was present in the pain, in the uncertainty, in the fear, in the goodbyes, in the feelings kept secret. It was present in the stubborn tears of Regina, Emma, mine and a lot of other people who will cry when reading, when feeling. It caught my sister's attention, how a seven-year-old girl managed to feel exactly every little thing you wanted to say. Sadness is not always a bad thing. Sometimes it comes dressed in hope, love, reciprocity. Leaving those we love free to follow their own paths is not easy and is not always the best thing to do. But we need to allow this to happen, let go to see the desire to return. Letting go knowing that we will be waiting, no matter how painful and sad each day leading up to the return is. Sadness can also be happy. This is contradictory, I know. But it's still true for me. You have an incredible mind, a transcendental sensitivity and intensity and I am a very happy — and lucky — person for every time you share your fragments, sometimes entire ones, with me. I don't say just for this one, but for all the others. It is extremely gratifying to lose myself in the universes you create and feel everything in your skin. I hope and ask the Goddess to never allow this gift of hers to be lost from you, to always continue to create, enchant, feel. And I also ask that She allows me to read, enchant and feel all that come. You will always have my encouragement, whether in fanfics or originals — I can't wait for you to publish an original so that I can form a fan club asking for adaptations. Thank you for sharing this with me, Layla. You are more than incredible.”

In this happy, happy day.

Storybrooke was partying! Finally, Emma and Hook's wedding day had arrived. Everyone was getting ready and choosing their best clothes, the entire city had been invited to the ceremony. What none of them knew, and perhaps not even imagined, was that far away, sheltered by her mansion, a Queen's heart was fragmenting every second. A swan's love lasts beyond life.

At twenty-three.

What is sixty minutes? How many surprises can be stored in one night? And for an hour? She didn't expect anything from New Year's Eve. Nor could she, for it was the unexpected that surprised her. On a day where everyone longs for midnight, no one could ever imagine that everything would start at twenty-three hours. Not even her.

I wanted you to come. I think so much that it almost happens. However, if I decide not to deceive myself like this, maybe my crying will end. If you would hear my prayer, you wouldn't want to see me so distressed. Dreaming doesn't cost anything, I still want it so bad! Grateful I would give you a saliva, along with you life reigns, our 3x4 in the wallet, seeing the half moon, the light and a half. I beg you to pay me a visit. I dream so much because I love you so much. The dream is holy because it brings you to me. (Marisa Monte) — A SwanQueen story; — Lesbian content; — Oneshot.

Jazz

What defines love? Feel it or live it? Being able to touch or take care, even at a distance? A year, a decade, a month? Jazz is a oneshot that explores the meaning of eternal love. Not the one we live, not the one we keep in photos, videos, music or messages. Not. That love that is our companion, that is there, even if we don't remember it every day, it is part of who we are and, being part, makes us more whole than any other half. — A SwanQueen story; — Lesbian content; — Oneshot.
