stone jungle
Don Richard is the seventh most visited zoo in the US. Located south of Spokeness Island, off the coast of Georgia, it welcomes tourists from all over the world year-round. Until one quiet Saturday morning everything changes. Three hours before their graduation, three young men are found dead, their faces disfigured and bodies partially devoured. All the hundreds of species that made up the zoo's menu had mysteriously escaped. The island's population panics. Isolated from the rest of the world and prevented from leaving the site and seeking safety elsewhere, they are obliged to protect themselves as best they can. Personalities hidden under false faces are discovered. Secrets from the past tend to come to light. A state of fear and self-destruction takes over when everyone is condemned to live on the prowl of ferocious animals, waiting for death, captive in the stone jungle.
