“Essa foi a primeira fic da Série Hush, Hush que li, e amei a história. É legal ver as coisas do ponto de vista do Patch, principalmente como ele se sente em relação a Nora, pois no próprio livro Nora não tem muita ideia do que se passa na cabeça dele, deixando Patch como um poço de mistérios. Bom, foi legal o modo de como a história aconteceu, amei muito! É sempre bom ver Patch e Nora juntos, apesar de tudo.”

When you live forever - in layman's terms you would live until someone killed you. Or take you to hell. Well, lucky for me then, my mother has a lot of influence in hell. I was one of the Nightborne. A witch as everyone liked to call her. Magic coursed through my veins along with my blood. And she could do quite a bit of damage. Only I didn't care. I had priorities now. "I stared at the blue flames until they disappeared and turned to the boys. The three of them stared at me. It was a mixture of fear, compassion and anger. I knew I had let them down. the most important men to me: my brother, my friend and my boyfriend. But the hatred inside me was greater than that."
Ascension was nothing more than the act of igniting, elevating, evolving. And that was what would happen. The magic would finally rise. The appointed day had arrived. I had to deal with all things. And at the same time, dealing with the fact that she was a Daughter of Lillity. "I prepared myself for what had to come, my body was lifted beyond my control and I felt my skin tingle. Lightning struck me and I screamed. I thought I was going to die, but I understood that the electrical discharge that passed through my body. It didn't hurt. The magic was there coming out of my hands, in fact it was emanating from my whole body. As soon as I landed on the floor standing, I fell back. And I left sleep come over."
The worst feeling is being alone. Feeling alone is even worse. It's bad for you to feel alone, incomplete, incapable. And this is what happened. Nothing I could do could stop that from happening. And he didn't help me to turn the situation in our favor, because we had sinned. "- I need to get away from you Nicolle. You are my downfall. - He looked into my eyes. - I love you. And for you to stay alive, I need to leave. - I don't want you you go. — I need to go. Or we'll both suffer the consequences."
