After the events involving World Marshall and Senator Armstrong, Raiden decides to work on his own as a mercenary. His talents and track record quickly catches the eye of Jair Messias Bolsonaro, the Brazilian president, who is given the opportunity to deploy cyborg technology in the Armed Forces and sees the ex-soldier as the most appropriate person to guide his secret project. Faced with the proposal, Raiden accepts; and leaves for Brazil. Coming to the tropical country had everything it took to be just one of his business trips, but when Raiden meets the young brasiliense Catarina, his ideals begin to stir within him once again. . A forbidden romance emerges; and as they both confront their own inner demons, they discover more and more about the great conspiracies that run under the hood of the Beloved Homeland.
