The two homes of Panettone

Synopsis

Panettone (or Cat) was tired of seeing its owners celebrating Christmas alone ㅡ if that can even be called a celebration. So he decided that this year would be different. He would give a little help for the two to get to know each other, he just didn't count on the fact that he'd almost been run over and that human sluggishness would make everything unfold as planned.

Everyday life demanded a lot from Bernardo. He knew that half of his problems wouldn't exist if he'd been raised by his own parents. However, he would give anything for his life to go back to what it was before Annabel bit him. Before finding out which legends were real. Before being hit by the vampire's uncontrolled attitudes. Bernardo will have to deal with his routine turning upside down, friends a little worried and a discovery from his past about what got him into that mess. And the worst: he depended on Annabel's good will to solve everything.

A call could be your last chance. “'You're unpredictable. It's hard for me to understand you, and I doubt it's easy for other people. You live everything to the extreme. When you're angry, I sometimes believe the apocalypse can really start. With you, I feel in a danger zone… a good danger.' 一 And I answered you that life is one, so we should cry, scream, dance, when we feel like it. To pour out all the anguish, energy or joy at the moment we live it. For both sadness and joy will one day pass, and on that day we will see that we are human, we are alive and that life is made of ups and downs."

Founded in 1389, among the mountains that divide France and Switzerland, Saint Orpheus is an institution surrounded by centuries of forbidden knowledge, forgotten traditions, and stories that few dare to mention. Behind its ancient walls, the past is never truly dead (and some truths should remain buried). At twenty-one years old, Lucien is about to discover that his entire life has been built on a lie. Heir to a lineage long erased from history, he carries within himself something that predates even the ancient celestial orders: the Original Darkness. But Saint Orpheus is not the only place interested in his destiny. Aurelian and Samael are two presences impossible to ignore. Fallen angels, united by an ancient oath and by secrets they refuse to share, both seem to know far more about Lucien than they should. One awakens his curiosity; the other, his distrust. As the boundaries between the Firmament, the Veil, and the Abyss begin to become less secure, Lucien will need to discover who he truly is and why his existence seems to threaten an order that has survived for centuries.
