The power of words
This fanfic takes place shortly after Xena and Gabrielle's second meeting with Najara, a warrior who was said to be a messenger of peace because she was guided by spirits who spoke to her (the Djinn) and who ended up falling madly in love with Gabrielle and revealed herself obsessed and manic. That is, the events here are a sequel to the events of episode 18 of Season Four, "The Convert", where religious fanatic Najara escapes from prison to convince Xena and Gabrielle that she is no longer a bloodthirsty warrior. Our story would then be a passage after episode 20, "EndGame". Gaby had already become Queen of the Amazons; and before episode 21, "The Ides of March" in which Xena and Gabrielle are crucified by the Romans. To create the plot, I considered that they had not yet assumed the love they feel for each other. Therefore, this fanfic narrates what would be then, the story of the revelation of that love. I think it would be episode 20.5 (twenty and a half) so hehehe Well, I hope you like it, it's my first fanfic of my favorite warriors.
