Rosie was an ordinary New York girl. She was rich, beautiful and also popular at her high school. Her life is turned upside down when her father loses his job and decides to return to his roots in New Jersey. She then has to choose between continuing to be the person she is or changing so that the people around her accept her. And in the midst of all this confusion she meets Richard, a boy 2 years older than her, who seems to be the perfect boy. The plot takes place in the early 80s and follows the career of one of the biggest bands, Bon Jovi.

It's not a good synopsis, but this short-fic is pretty cool.
