The world we knew before has changed and as a consequence, people have also changed. The dead walk the earth while the living must fight for their survival in a world dominated by chaos and death. Ayla Stevens, among many other people, is just another survivor of this cruel and dark world, a teenager who was very lucky to stay alive for so long. After losing everything and everyone she loved most and finding herself in a situation of complete loneliness she could no longer see a world where good people could still exist and she doesn't even see hope for that new world. But everything seems to change when she encounters a new group of survivors who welcome her with open arms. But after so much time living alone and seeing the worst of the human race, would it really be possible to believe that good people still existed in a world as lost as that? Is it even possible to believe that there is still something good in that world?
