"I will fight alone, I will die alone". That has always been his motto. You always isolated yourself from others and seemed to make a point of being unpleasant - but you completely forgot about that as you hugged Mitsutada and checked that he was alive and well; while tears flowed from his eyes almost without realizing it out of relief to see him smiling that stupid grin at you; while you realized and tried to deny how much you loved and needed him. Because you almost lost him again, and you couldn't stand a second separation.

Right here. Always by your side.

That night the sky was on fire, around us there were more fallen bodies than standing, and in front of us nothing but more bloodthirsty enemies. We, weary and wounded, still didn't look back, raising our weapons and hearing the clatter of metal again and again. We didn't know if we were going to make it and even then we couldn't stop. I was tired even scared watching him scream with each new blow he gave ignoring the pain of all those he received. I always knew how strong he was, but I never imagined I would live to stand up for him. Swords are forged in fire with the only reason they exist: to protect. Even someone like me knew this, but was I capable? Could I do this anyway? That night, I discovered the answer. 「Shokudaikiri Mitsutada ✖ Ookurikara」

Belladonna Draco Malfoy

Katherine Gaunt arrived at Hogwarts in her third year with an old surname, red hair with a white streak, and a mission no one could know about. Slytherin by choice, raised by Severus Snape, trained since childhood by Dumbledore himself to be Harry Potter's sword and shield in the war she knew was coming. She is confident, sharp-tongued, and too good at what she does to be just a student. But no one knows what she truly is. Not even herself. Between the rivalry with Draco Malfoy, the unlikely friendship with Hermione, the flirting with Fred, and the weight of a surname that carries more secrets than she imagines, Katherine will discover that being someone's tool has a price. And that the most dangerous question she can ask is not "whose side am I on?", but rather "who is my mother?". Because there is a reason for the blackouts, for the buzzing at the back of her neck, for her body reacting before her head when she hears the name of a certain woman from the Black family. And there is a reason Dumbledore never told her everything about herself. When the truth comes to light, Katherine will have to choose between the side that raised her and the side that took her in. And the choice will change everything.

Jade and Lazuli were the example among aspiring Elementals that opposites could get along well. Or not. Maybe Jade never had anyone she could mess with. Maybe Laz just needed someone quieter around. But even before they were inseparable, their experiences were contrary.
