The world is recovering from a disaster. Amidst this climate of panic, mutants willing to fight manifest in two different ways. In front of the public, trying to create a more friendly vision of their kind, the New Mutants emerge as a lovely team of heroes willing to help and prove how good and caring mutants are. On the other hand, the Brotherhood of Mutants has other plans, looking for a way to rid mutants once and for all of the daily fear of the terrigen that plagues them, by any means that proves favorable to their cause.
What does it take to be special? What is the advantage of being normal? There are so many variables to know the answer to the Stark twins' life equation. And even with a single possibility of a concrete answer, they have to deal with the distance of their connections and principles to battle their own instincts. Learning to grow has never been easy, especially with great responsibilities, great power in hand and the prejudice of being different. The world is changing and only the brothers will be able to say who they really are.
It's more of a description than a fanfic, but I think it's important to clarify who is the Wolverine I base my fics on, you know? Trying to unlink Wolverine "Jackman" from the movies, since it took him a few movies to really embody the character. A character that has been created since 1968 and was being matured.
