Lala has lived in a coma throughout her childhood and adolescence and then suddenly wakes up in a hospital where he is abandoned. Now Lala is alone as there has been a big holocaust and everyone is dead. The hospital and the city are filled with corpses and blood on the floor, souls roam everywhere and it is not known if there are any alive in that place. But then Lala decides to go to the place where it all started. But she will not only find out what happened, but also why and most importantly: What does she have to do with it all.

As the title suggests, this is a story about troubled people. Our main character is a troubled 16-year-old girl named Katrina. Katrina is an orphan and moves in with her brother Hugo. In the new house she meets another resident, meets new friends and meets some childhood friends. The school is weird, the principal is crazy, the students are troubled and falling in love is always a possibility, even for people so opposite.
