Crimson
- Did not you know? It happened just over a week ago. The ningen looked away, fixing on the rain soaking this city through the window and that wrong feeling again disturbed me. Taking a drag from the hideous thing, she turned to face me. The pitying expression clouded her eyes. And suddenly everything fell into place. Something inside me cracked in a mixture of shock and revolt and even without changing my expression, Kuwabara's sister realized that I understood what happened to the baka onna...

“What can I say? Hm, because I have a great emotional attachment to yu yu hakusho, I have great difficulty finding a good story in this category... And Crimson, what a wonderful story, so engaging that I ended up getting attached to it. I was amazed at how the author managed to capture the essence of the characters, especially Hiei, because if you know the play you know what he is like. I see the same character from the anime in this story, generally in others it's difficult to capture his personality, in the end they always end up changing it, no matter how light they are, it's uncomfortable, but in Crimson I felt him pure there, you can even feel the aura of "don't come near me and I'll kill you" that emanates from him in simple gestures of companionship. And not to mention the others, people are incredible. And I loved it! It's not that romantic thing of "everything is pink and our love overcomes barriers and blah blah blah"! It's drama, suspense, action, comedy, it's practically everything! Action! That's right, speaking of action, I was simply left breathless in the parts that contained actions, in how the fights were narrated, which is difficult, huh, and oh, of course, the narrative is simply wonderful, not at all cloying. I've lost count of how many times I've read Crimson and honestly, it's impossible not to love it or get bored of it. With each chapter you want to know more and more and when you realize it you are already involved in the story and crying for the characters. Read it and you won't regret it, you'll even question yourself for not reading it sooner! Crimson is simply captivating.”
