RodferSleep Experiment
Russian researchers, in the late 1940s, kept five people awake for fifteen days, using an experimental gas as a stimulant. They were kept in a sealed environment, and monitoring their oxygen, so the gas wouldn't kill them, as it had high levels of concentrated toxin. To observe them, there was an internal circuit of cameras with five-inch microphones (N/T: approx. 12 cm) and windows smaller than porthole windows inside the environment. The chamber was filled with books and cribs to sleep in, but no sheets, running water, and a bathroom; there was also dry food for all the cinci that would last a month. The test subjects were political prisoners declared enemies of the state during World War II.
