Indiezinho Is Also People

Synopsis

Indiezinhos are people too and, just like us who have social networks and the appearance of mere mortals (I don't know at what point the image of "indie" came out of music), they suffer and fuck themselves too. Lorena knows this well, but hiding behind followers and vain praise is the best way to escape her problems with her mother, insecurities about who she is or her newest conflict: (IsaBel)atrix, the "witch " that took her out of her comfort zone, forcing her to start the process of discovering herself from scratch.

More or less your typical teenage romance story between neighbors (or neighbors). With paganism, dysfunctional families and a portrait of teenage growth, however. Sexuality, spirituality, the perception of oneself in the world and how the cracks formed in childhood permeate all this. I try, at least.

In one of those yellow buses in Curitiba, a possible love story unfolds between any two girls. If we disregard who they really are and put a filter on all the scenes, they look like they came out of a movie! The story is told in fragments seen from the outside. The narrator, who routinely takes the bus with the characters, is an anonymous, witty, and full of references. Very observant and especially creative. All we know are the small gestures and words captured here and there: the rest are her fantasies. But what does it matter? In the end, the result is the same.

Melissa is with patrol car 02 and Hector is from the square's restaurant. In Vale Bonito, everyone listens to the police radio, and a minor incident turns into a marriage proposal with a patrol car horn, a sunflower in a bucket, and all of Vale Bonito marrying the two off before the proposal even happens. A light romance, with God in the middle and paçoquinha on the square bench.
