What if Callie and Arizona's fates intersect in the most unexpected way possible? Arizona and Callie, two mothers vying for a baby that will spark their love. Callie Torres is an orthopedic surgeon in New York, pregnant with a baby by her college friend Mark, also a surgeon. The two entered into an agreement, that if they reached the age of thirty and had achieved nothing but a solid career, they would have a baby together. Arizona Robbins is a pediatric surgeon, single and very lesbian, as she calls herself. She had everything she planned for her life until she was thirty. But despite so much career glory, she felt kind of lonely. By a tragic comedy of fate, Callie ended up giving birth to her baby at the hospital where Arizona works. A lot of fussing and a medical record error caused two babies to have their bracelets switched in the NICU, causing Callie's baby to be orphaned. What if Arizona got attached to this beautiful little girl? And now willing to fill the void in her heart with motherhood, Sofia would be her baby. At least until Mark finds out about the medical error and begins a hunt for his lost daughter.
