"[...] We were going to record a record and we had just finished a tour. We were exhausted and I was... I was dealing with it in a way... oh well, like any singer in a punk band or any artist could deal with anything in the 70s, you know? But the whole thing got out of hand, I was acting like an asshole most of the time and it got to the point where others said, 'I don't think this is going to work if it continues. like this.' " — Kyle Broflovski for Rolling Stone, 1998 Kyle/Gregory

Jack's Road

Kyle Broflovski fell in love once in 1979. he didn't know it at the time, but he knew for sure months later, probably sometime between '81 and '82. He remained in love in '83 and even when he was no longer sure of anything. But love came to Broflovski criminally sneaky; he took shelter, took root, and even when he hit him with a damn bucket of cold water at the most unlikely moment, he made up for a little hope in a cold early morning in December 1994.
