Manuella Middlewere was just another teenager, but her life changed after her father was diagnosed with terminal illness. An orphan, she moves to her aunt and uncle's house and with her cousin is taken to a series of events and Manu begins to realize that true love overcomes any and all resentment.
A night the Word Shaker didn't record. A night that Death lived together with the Lemon Hair Boy. One night Liesel Meminger never knew what happened to her because she was sleeping. But Rudy Steiner did because he was wide awake.
It all starts with a diary page. In it, Anne Frank's best friend makes a last farewell and last tribute to her friend. In this diary page, the daily life of a child who visits her best friend is reported. Until the day Anne, her parents and friends are transported to a concentration camp.
Words are the most powerful weapon there is. They can destroy and heal, they can ruin something or someone forever... One word makes all the difference.
Where our narrator introduces: * A new perspective * Rudy Steiner * Your book thief * And a love painted in red, white and black.
What if Rudy had won the kiss? Death is a collector of stories, would certainly insist on telling just one more.
