"Carrossel" é uma novela infantojuvenil brasileira que foi ao ar originalmente em 2012 pelo SBT. A trama foi baseada na telenovela mexicana de mesmo nome, exibida nos anos 80. Foi escrita por Íris Abravanel e dirigida por Reynaldo Boury. A história se passa em uma escola chamada Escola Mundial, onde um grupo de crianças vive diversas aventuras e aprende importantes lições de vida. O foco principal da trama é a turma do terceiro ano, composta por personagens carismáticos como Maria Joaquina, Cirilo, Valéria, Davi, entre outros. Maria Joaquina é a típica menina rica e mimada que não gosta muito dos colegas de classe. Por outro lado, Cirilo é seu colega de classe que sofre com o preconceito por ser pobre e negro. Ao longo da novela, os dois acabam desenvolvendo uma amizade improvável. Além das histórias individuais dos personagens principais, "Carrossel" também aborda temas como bullying, solidariedade, amizade e respeito às diferenças. A novela conquistou o público com seu elenco jovem talentoso e suas músicas cativantes. "Carrossel" foi um grande sucesso no Brasil e no exterior.
