A year has passed since Taniama Mai joined the SPR team. Everything happened in the most perfect harmony. But everything changes when a suspicious woman abandons a 13-year-old girl at the office. Etsuko Missa, a polite and sweet girl. Or not so sweet when it comes to Natsuko Rin - Takigawa's godson. - A 15-year-old boy. Promise... A promise made Taniyama Mai change completely.. A promise made Taniyama Mai hide under a "mask" turning into an expressionless person as cold as ice . This all started right after naru closed the SPR and left for England with Gene's body, after these events Mai remembered a promise she made to her mother while she was still alive, but to fulfill such a promise mai had to get away from all the people important to her, as such people would be in serious danger, but Mai was willing to fulfill such a promise, as it was her dear mother's last request. So Mai walked away from all her school friends and everyone from SPR, such she considered her family Mai went on a trip with no plans to return Now that long 4 years have passed, mai will return to meet her dear family, but she didn't come alone, she arrived with many surprises especially for a certain narcissist!!!
The past is something not to be played with. The future is something very insecure. The present is something very fickle. Mai will understand why everything is as it is. Or at least, as it should be, but not quite. Or maybe it will? It's complicated
