The Other Earth 2

A few years after the end of "The Other Earth", we live in a world where history, information, science and knowledge are shared with both worlds, generating a lasting alliance to answer the greatest mysteries of humanity. Miranda Shaw and Ray Tsatsuni are 2 astrophysicists from Earth-1 who study with their group whether there are more worlds or structures identical to each other in the Universe, but the results begin to attract unwanted incidents that they keep repeating themselves as if someone was causing them. As they investigate, a wave of secrets comes and refers to something that happens in our heavenly brother.

Ian Morfleynder has lived his whole life in a compound he couldn't leave. He could see the sunlight and feel the icy winter wind inside the compound's courtyard. He wondered, what happened to the other occupants of the complex when they left? Why did the others leave and not come back? Where did they go and what did they do? Did they know the world hidden by the high stone walls of his house? The young man brooded all his life with these questions. He asked the complex's staff as often as he questioned himself. Until you enter the game.

In the vast and indifferent fabric of space-time, where improbability is a constant and logic is rarely invited for tea, there exists the Department of Interdimensional Bureaucracy (DIB). Its purpose? To ensure that reality remains minimally functional or, at least, sufficiently confusing so that no one notices otherwise. But something went wrong. Horribly, catastrophically, fill-out-three-copies-of-reports wrong. Immanuel Breckford, a man whose greatest achievement until then was remembering where he left his keys, unexpectedly finds himself involved in one of the DIB's most catastrophic failures. Upon receiving a Temporary Ontological Adjustment Request Form 42/B, his existence is recalculated. To correct this cosmic blunder, the DIB sends Artemis Xyllan-7, Senior Auditor and specialist in metaphysical disasters. Armed with an expired stopwatch, a pen that alters probabilities, and the patience of a black hole, she has little time (and even less desire) to fix the problem before the universe decides to file Immanuel away permanently.
