Sarah Reese every day tries to deal with her feelings for Connor Rhodes, just as he tries to deal with his. And on one of those days, they decide to put an end to it, showing how they really both feel about each other.
It was Christmas Eve when Will and Natalie decided to have a beautiful and pleasant afternoon, a small celebration for three.
"A smile costs less than electricity and gives much more light!!"....As the popular saying goes. And often, at the end of a turbulent day, after facing a difficult time, to help you through a crisis, to overcome fear, insecurity or simply to warm your heart, a smile is worth a LOT!
All Connor didn't want was to spend the holidays needing to dodge the "matchmaking intentions" of his mother and grandparents, but how to avoid this fact if he would have to spend them with them in the infamous family reunion commemorating two centenarians? "You can rent one...hire someone to pose as your fiancée or wife for a few days.." the suggestion given by his friend Will echoed in his mind as he watched a young mother interacting with her daughter at the train station. subway and suddenly the idea didn't seem so far-fetched. It remains to be seen if he could convince Sarah of the same!
Sarah has only one priority: to be happy. Connor just wants peace and quiet. And Romeo? For Romeo, a little more affection never hurts.
They say the eyes are the mirror of the soul. Sarah can attest to this statement when she finds the owner of the most transparent eyes and look she has ever seen and made her trust and believe that they are the first path to love. Oneshot
