Stupid Cupid
Since we were little, we humans have heard myths and legends about magical and beautiful beings, who have the powers to do all the things you always thought were impossible. Few really believe these myths. After all, why believe in something you've never seen with your own eyes? Megan knows this very well, people are totally ignorant of what is happening around them, they don't believe it and refuse to see it. Meg was born with angel blood in her veins. She always knew that when she turned 13 she would have to make a choice, and she did. She chose to become a Cupid and abandon her family, at least what was left of it. She knew the price would be expensive; her feelings. Transformed into magic in order to bring humans together at the behest of Clarisse, their leader. No one has ever seen her, but everyone believes she is her mother, the person who gave birth to most of the Cupids. Megan Carter was never exactly an example of perfect cupid. In fact, it's been a while since I've been a couple. So she had one last chance to fix it, before being kicked out of Clarinde. Place where all cupids live. She would have to look for Malachai Parker's true love. A boy wizard who had killed almost his entire family just to become the leader of his clan, and had ended up trapped in personal hell for a few years, until he was recently released. Unfortunately, at the same time Megan is given the mission, Kai is killed after massacring people at a wedding. But the girl has always been stubborn, and she won't go down that easily. She brings him back to life, but with the first impression she realizes that there is something different about him. Which makes her criticize everything she believed in. But Kai won't make Meg question only her certainties, but her sanity, and her feelings, which every day spent with him makes her more and more human.
