One-shot. A long period after 5x05: Will is leaving Chicago and isn't sure if he's ready to be away from Alicia forever.
I'm the new hire of Lance, Argos and Merlin Advocacy, I'm nervous about my first day, this is the best firm in all of New York. Thomas helped me get the job. With some caveats. “be friends but don't get involved with co-workers, don't get involved with your bosses and be proud of me!” All I want to do is make you proud, make my parents proud and make myself proud, getting involved with someone in the workplace is out of the question, first of all I want to be the best lawyer.
Lawyer and lieutenant become friends, both marked by past events. Between cases, trials and loves, the two end up getting closer and closer. However, sharing life with someone on such an intimate level can be dangerous. A relationship is put on the line, and everything is turned upside down. What would be a simple help to spice up the other person's relationship ends up revealing new feelings in one of them. A new vision of the bond is considered, and the bonds of friendship will end up broken or become different.
A day where the universe decides that everything has to fall into place, where there is no pain or any kind of complication for Will and Alicia.
Alicia comes home after another day of work in the mood for something very interesting. Petillicia.
