Real story
Over the centuries, extraordinary people have been discovered, capable of taking characters and objects from books. Deborah Egan is a beautiful 19-year-old girl, but she is unaware of the incredible and relatively dangerous gift she possesses until she reads a few pages of her favorite book aloud to her little kitten Mel. Sohan Kishan Rajaram is a handsome Indian prince who, for many centuries, lived in the skin of a tiger, under a curse, until a young girl, his brother's girlfriend, freed them from the curse. The two young men end up meeting, when Kishan comes out of the book. Now they will have to understand this curious gift more, in addition to trying to adapt to each other.
