Elsie Boone and her older brothers killed a man. No matter how hard Elsie tries to convince herself that it was an accident, guilt was ingrained in her life, leaving that man dead on a deserted road wasn't the most Christian attitude I'd ever had in her life. Two years have passed since the accident and if it weren't for Elsie's constant nightmares none of the three brothers would still talk about it. But now everything was different. When the Boone brothers decide to spend their winter vacation at their grandmother's house, in the countryside, all they could hope for was some time to rest, but their plans go awry when one afternoon Elsie is reunited with the boy who, supposedly, she and his brothers had killed. Nicholas Becker wanted revenge. "- I demand revenge, Elsie, you destroyed my life when you left me on that road. If today I'm a monster that goes around sucking other people's blood to survive, there's only one culprit: you. - Nicholas came close enough that I could clearly see his moss green eyes turning black. "You have no idea how sorry I am for that night, Nicholas. But I won't let you hurt my family," I growled in answer. - It's not your family that interests me, dear. I hope you enjoy immortality." "I was kissing him. Kissing the man who killed me and turned my life into the hell it is today. I always knew he would never develop a feeling for me, no matter how tiny, but Nicholas Becker was a hot man and I could never resist green eyes."
