Changes were always welcome, the O'Flanagan family faithfully believed in this and soon decided to move to Avonlea after the company's expansion so they could calm down their hectic lives, but they didn't imagine the tragedy that was to come. Dalia O'Flanagan would be the first to regret the move, as well as the first to discover that running away wouldn't do any good, as her heart would remain there forever. While Connor, her brother, would find out the hard way that her sister was right and that place was her private hell.

Avonlea is not the same, as is every person who has continued on their adventures. Some students went to college, and others stayed with their families. Some residents overcome the grief of their partners, sometimes with the company of a friendly shoulder or a fellow judging voice, but with good intentions and carrying a basket with good food and free opinions (which, if charged, would be very expensive! ). While love blooms in the hearts of some, in others it causes sadness. Stories are being built, and one certainty remains: nothing else will remain the same. — This story takes place after the end of the third season of the Anne With an E series. — The characters and events of the series are used, as well as characters and events from the Anne collection books from Green Gables. — Eventually, authorial characters can be added.

Finally college! Great discoveries, adventures, loves, mysteries and questions. What happened to Ka'kwet? What would life be like for the girls away from home? Can a love last with the distance? How were Marillia and Matthew without their beloved Anne on the farm? And the other residents of Avonlea? For sure things would shake up in our Anne's life, even more so with the appearance of a mysterious supposed relative who suddenly appears willing to do anything to get Anne back, no matter the circumstances.

"Gilbert has always been kind to me, that is, outside of when we first met, but since Bash's wedding, when we agreed to the truce, he's been even kinder. He gives me Christmas and birthday presents, he even opens doors for me. . If I didn't know him, I'd think he's courting me. Which would be a problem. Gilbert Blythe is forbidden to anyone other than Ruby."
