Ciaran tasted the five symptoms of a wasp sting: At first a strange tingling crept up his skin. Afterwards, a kind of allergy bothered her. The third time something stung her like a stinger. she knew pain on the fourth, when all three effects had worn off. As soon as she experienced the dampening, she hadn't been able to feel anything else. [Ciaran&Artorias — Oneshot]
It's the Age of Fire. The beginning of the golden age of Gwyn, lord of ash and his reign. Despite the glories, tragedies also happen. The Abyss opens, and with it comes pestilence, famine, and death. From there comes the Darkness. This threat must be defeated as soon as possible. Artorias, Ciaran, Gough and Ornstein, the strongest knights loyal to Gwyn will have to find a way to end the darkness. But they will see that being heroes comes at a price. They will have to choose what is most important to them: the world or their honors, their dreams and their feelings.
