Ghost River Chronicles #Wayhaught
We entered the police station and asked for the sheriff, he was waiting for us. He greeted us and offered us coffee, we accepted. He offered to show us around town and then take us to the bar where Wyatt Earp drank. So, apparently the bar was the hotspot of the city. On First Avenue Clarissa was already bored, it was the kind of city that started and ended the same. Nedley was a very nice and caring gentleman, it was fun to walk with him down the street, everyone knew him and greeted him, which for me was an unnecessary distraction at work, but as I was not on duty, we finally entered Shorty's Saloon, “the bar where Wyatt Earp drank”. Classic old west bar, all made of wood. The three of us sat away from the counter. Nedley greeted the clerk, who even looked a little like him. He ordered three beers and brought them to our table. Then he told us that the person who answered him owned the place and that Wyatt's great-great-granddaughter also worked there. — You'll love Waverly, everyone likes her around here. – He took another sip of his beer and pointed to some tables to talk about some people's lives.
