We Remain

Synopsis

I could have been happy, I could have made Cida happy, I could have made our marriage work, but nothing went as I planned. She betrayed me, betrayed my trust and I got the worst once again. Coming home and swallowing pride, and especially, swallowing Fabinho was the hardest. He's my brother, but totally unlike me, I don't see him as one. I didn't want to have to go back. Then I met Giane, my brother's fiancée, physically she reminded me a lot of Cida, but the totally opposite personality attracted me. The feeling she gave me burned me inside, rebuilt me, every piece of me that was left around I found it again because of her. But she loves Fábio, and I don't know what to do, she has to really get to know her fiancé, before it's too late.

suddenly it's love

Did he decide he would do you a favor in return? She would have to pretend to be his girlfriend. The maloqueira and the badboy would never imagine that within their hearts a true feeling could be born, but fate has these and is able to prove that all hate, in fact, can be hiding a lot of love. When they discover their feelings for each other, will they be able to cope? Or even accept? “— Me liking that diaper? It was just what I needed. – Giane complained, in the silence of the night, in her room.” “- Why don't you get out of my head, maloqueira? – Fabinho whispered to himself, while “watching” any channel, thrown on the living room sofa.”

Student Love

In the eternal Portuguese city of students, there is a history of encounters and disagreements between those who came from far away to find each other. It is on the European side of the Atlantic that we meet Elano, a good Brazilian boy who comes to Coimbra to study law because he wants to give his family a better life, and Maria Aparecida, a girl-woman still too innocent to know what she wants from life, student and lover of literature, of few means and many dreams, who travels from Rio to Coimbra to fulfill his missing mother's last wish. For Prince Elano, it's love at first sight for Princess Cida. For Maria Aparecida, it's love at first sight... for Conrado Werneck, Elano's infamous colleague, unaware that, under that silent film hero appearance, Conrado is the biggest crook to inhabit the city that the Mondego River bathes. In a web of connections, collisions and mismatched loves, will Elano be able to show Cida the true face of that love triangle? P.S. – Amor de Estudante is an old fado (which I love in Zeca Afonso's version) whose lyrics gave rise to the inspiration for this story: “They say that student love Oh, it doesn't last more than an hour Only mine is so old If you don't leave”
