The Tin Man doesn't have a heart. The Queen of Hearts has many. To be deprived of the weight of a heart can be a gift as well as a terror.
In the 19th century, during the reign of Queen Victoria in England, the two daughters of an Earl who lived isolated in his mansion, find comfort in their late mother's stories about a place called Wonderland... he is threatened by them when the eldest is betrothed to the son of a Duke. In just one night, the sisters' world is turned upside down, where some secrets from the past begin to surface and a new universe is opened for them. The girls' fate is still uncertain and full of lies and secrets, but they must remain strong to face the mysterious and hostile new world that awaits them.
"My God, my God! How weird everything is today! And yesterday everything was just as usual. Was I the one who changed last night? Let me think: Was I the same when I got up this morning? I'm almost thinking that I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is, 'Who am I?' Ah, that's the big riddle!" My wavy blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes have always caught the attention of many people.
Although Alice had agreed that the ball hosted by the Queen of Hearts was boring, when they got there Julius saw the girl enjoying herself with the new friends she had made. And while a part of him already knew this would happen, another part envied her. I wish I could do the same. He would have liked to be having fun with her at that party, but his reserved and introverted personality didn't help matters. And yet there was no denying it… living next to Alice was making Julius change. Just him, the Watchmaker whom everyone shunned, who could fix any broken watch except his own. For the watch that represented his heart could only be "fixed" by one person, and Julius knew it. He knew that the hands of the clock inside his chest, which resembled a frozen heart, had started to speed up…
I remember well how it all started: I was running through the streets of London, late as usual for my piano lesson, soaked by the rain that insisted on falling violently on the almost deserted city, when, in a moment of distraction, I slipped on some thing on the floor and hit my head. When I woke up, still dizzy and a little stunned with pain, I saw, in the distance, a white rabbit.
Alice never believed her grandmother's stories, she always thought it was too fanciful, too far from reality. Craziness. So much so that she always hated the fact that her family members compared her to the old lady, an absurdity: How could she be compared to a crazy old woman? For this reason, the girl always tried to be as lucid as possible; always maintaining the posture that others wanted to see and looking forward to the day when she would emerge from the dome of masks in which she was being held. However, fate seemed to have other plans for her. Her entire life is washed away in a wave, when her home is attacked by strange beings, her mother is seriously injured and her grandmother is taken away. Now, with no way out, Alice will have to rethink her ideologies and reformulate her beliefs if she wants to escape alive and rescue her grandmother. To save herself and her family, she must forget the rational and believe the fanciful. Although, just believing is not enough. Alice will have to breathe fantasy and practice the impossible.
