Two princesses
Jor-El and Lara escape the destruction of their home planet Krypton by landing on an Earth, which is trapped in a medieval level of technology and culture. Over time, the house of El ascends to the position of monarchs, but the other kingdoms see the Kryptonians with fear and distrust, King Jor-El wanting to improve his relationship with the kingdom of the Amazons, sends his youngest daughter to live on the island of the warrior women in the hopes that this will forge an alliance between the two kingdoms.
