The Nightmare Child
19th century. Victorian England. A disappearance. One more, some would say. But as Sherlock Holmes attested in less than 24 hours, there was nothing common about this case. If there was one word that could describe him perfectly, it would be "weird". Even for a detective like him. Even for a city like that.

“I wouldn't need to write this if you simply read the first chapter of this story, just the prologue would convince you how good The Nightmare Child is. A fact about me is: I love the Victorian period, it's all so chic and... I don't know! Now, combine the Victorian period with the characters from BBC's Sherlock, detective Frederick Abberline and Stranger Things! I could stop here, but I'll continue! In addition to her writing being incredible, with no grammatical errors, Lirah is a sweetheart, always responding to comments with the utmost cuteness and kindness (and patience, right? Because, between you and me, I'm quite inconvenient) . Apart from the references (which punch you in the face that would make Captain America clap), the entire plot was woven with such great care to make you stay as much in the story as the characters themselves. To sum it all up: read this story and give meaning to your existence. Seriously, you won't regret it.”
