The Metal Princess

Sinopsis

The citizens of London are afraid, not afraid of a man or a monster, afraid of science. Ever since doctors started inserting metal into people to cure them of diseases that could not be cured, panic grew. They think they can stop being human and become weapons, controlled by the queen. This nonsense led the queen to decree that no one could have metals in her body, that such doctors be banned and that cured people be exiled or killed. Victor Áurea was one of those doctors, he couldn't bear to see his friend, Queen Victoria, die little by little. Before he left town, leaving everything behind, he replaced the queen's ailing heart with a steam engine, this rendered her infertile. Years later the Queen summoned him with an unusual request, to give him a daughter like her, whom she could name successor, but a man known only as Jack wants her dead for some reason, Victor was put to the test, Should he risk his life and help the woman who took his everything he had, or should he leave her for dead and move on, with no one to stop him from his goals?

How is hell? Does anyone out there know? I just know that I don't want to know so soon and preferably never, but did you know that every culture has its version of the world of the Dead? Well, before anyone walked on water and went down to the mansion of the dead, there was Hades. The great Greek god who inherited the dominion of the underworld. I have in my possession one of the oldest translated Greek scrolls, donated exclusively to me by Hecate herself, who tells how he created his world and I'm willing to share it with you, I hope you like it.

They say the desert does not forgive mistakes. Neither does Naskáh. Between salt, blood, and faith, an entire kingdom balances on the brink of war. Choked trade routes, fragile alliances, and a throne upheld by ancient lies - where water is sacred, and power is inherited through blood... or stolen by it. Miraat was not born for this game. Without lineage, without title, and without value in the eyes of the world, she is just another daughter of the desert trying to protect the little she has left: her own family. But when greater forces begin to move - inside and outside Naskáh - Mira is dragged into a conflict she was not made to understand... much less to win. While princes conspire, kingdoms threaten war, and ancient secrets resurface, one mistake can cost more than lives. It can cost the world itself. Because in Naskáh, power does not choose the worthy. It consumes the available. And sometimes... the most dangerous ones are exactly those no one saw coming.

In a world subjugated by unstable gods and ruthless tyrants, blood carries both the burden of slavery and the key to the ruin of empires. Jack Another was once human, but after relentless surgical interventions, he became the cyborg leader of a fascist dictatorship. Under the banner of the New Era of Hunters, his goal is to colonize and subjugate the draconians in the name of a new deity: Dante Alighieri.

Benedict Valentine is the greatest mind of the 19th century. The 13-year-old boy genius gifted with mecha-magical eyes seeks revenge after being kidnapped and having his right eye stolen by a gang. Ben sets off in search of revenge and, with luck, to recover his right eye, the very eye that was given to him as a gift by King Dragomir when he was still a frail, blind baby.

Founded in 1389, among the mountains that divide France and Switzerland, Saint Orpheus is an institution surrounded by centuries of forbidden knowledge, forgotten traditions, and stories that few dare to mention. Behind its ancient walls, the past is never truly dead (and some truths should remain buried). At twenty-one years old, Lucien is about to discover that his entire life has been built on a lie. Heir to a lineage long erased from history, he carries within himself something that predates even the ancient celestial orders: the Original Darkness. But Saint Orpheus is not the only place interested in his destiny. Aurelian and Samael are two presences impossible to ignore. Fallen angels, united by an ancient oath and by secrets they refuse to share, both seem to know far more about Lucien than they should. One awakens his curiosity; the other, his distrust. As the boundaries between the Firmament, the Veil, and the Abyss begin to become less secure, Lucien will need to discover who he truly is and why his existence seems to threaten an order that has survived for centuries.
