When Ymir Fritz conquered the Founding Titan's power, the tribe of Eldia kick-started the Great Titan War: they destroyed, plundered and took over other nations, extinguishing cultures and religions en masse. This war has spanned millennia, and today, Eldia occupies much of the continent and intimidates neighboring countries, who fear to challenge the absolute power of Ymir's descendants. From the ashes, Helos establishes himself as leader of the nation of Marley - once ravaged by the overwhelming power of Eldia. As the Resistance gains strength, the Eldian empire becomes embroiled in its own internal wars and a new era begins. Finally, the Great Titan War enters its last phase.
