At 38 years old, Furihata Kouki thought he was old enough to properly say that he was the target of the gods' evil. Such a run of bad luck could only be justified by divine mockery. However, the reunion with an old school acquaintance was making him think that maybe there was luck in misfortune...
Takao wondered: why did Midorima Shintaro have to be so weird? Wasn't the embarrassment that the two of them had been through while drunk at Kagami Taiga's house enough? Why did he insist on talking about red bean soup when they were both still hung over…? Oh. Then Takao remembered…
Takao starts to get worried about Midorima, he seems too distressed and distracted lately, but when he thinks he understands the reasons for Shintaro's recent awkwardness, he ends up getting involved in a terrible misunderstanding. ♦
