The story takes place between the events of Revenge of the Sith (Episode III) and A New Hope (Episode IV). Empire spies locate a surviving Jedi Knight on the planet Kashyyyk who leads a Wookiee resistance against the Imperial Forces. Darth Vader invades the planet to eliminate the Jedi and crush the resistance. During the duel, Lord Vader senses the presence of someone very powerful with the Force. Vader notices that it was a girl, the daughter of the Jedi, and takes her with him to make her his Sith apprentice. The Sith Code says that there can only be two Sith Lords in charge of the Order: a master and an apprentice. So Vader decides to keep his apprentice hidden in the Super Star Destroyer Executor. As time passes, Darth Vader sends his apprentice to the secrets of the farthest corners of the Galaxy with a mission to exterminate surviving Jedi Knights. The missions are tests for the apprentice to show if she is really powerful enough to help Vader defeat the Emperor. What Vader doesn't count is that Kirk and his crew of the Enterprise are working hard to stop his plans for domination.
