Those were other times in Vila de Santa Fé, long before the school was built and the story we know began. Gina and Ferdinand were still children and barely knew each other. Who said that everything we live in the past can't change what we are in the future?
The inhabitants of the quiet Vila de Santa Fé would never imagine one day ending up in a completely different place from what they were used to. They meet Gina, who has always lived in a futuristic world where war and discord are commonplace. But as they search for a way to get everything back to normal, they discover they will never be the same again.
They say that not even the freezing cold of winter can erase true love. And Juliana discovered herself exactly in this way, not even the purest snow was enough to take that love out of her chest.
Oh, the carnival. National festival known worldwide for its energetic musicals, festivals and novels. But, a detail that is somewhat veiled among Brazilians, is that not all festivities are as “modern” as in the capitals. This is even the reality of the calm Vila de Santa Fé, where our story takes place.
It's amazing how similar children are to their parents. And when children don't know a family member?, do they still look alike? Does a father or mother, when they love their child too much, continue to communicate or protect them even after death? and what secrets does a look hide?. Come and find out in this story that takes place in the village of Santa Fé.
This week (precisely on 06/22/15) a group I belong to, dedicated to Ginando/MPDC on facebook, completed its first year of life. I made a small gift. A text to all the authors Ginando and Zeliana who, through their beautiful stories, touched my heart and softened the 'sardade' I still feel from this unforgettable novel, Meu Pedacinho de Chão was the best production made in recent times. However, not all the authors I admire are part of this select group, and I took the liberty of posting this text here, hoping you will see how important their narratives were to me. To you MPDC authors, my Sincere Thank you!
