Endless battles, in a deep and inexplicable war, soldiers die in search of achieving a false love for an idealized illusion. Who in their right mind would continue in such a deplorable state?
Just a poem. Perhaps an outburst of a lost soul in the midst of an interminable pitch looking for sparks amidst the chaos that happens in the shadows.
A re-reading of the poem "Quadrilha", by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, made in 1930. Like the inspiring work, "quadrilhavintee1" portrays the current affairs of the early 21st century and the structural form of each verse , stanza and the poem itself, counting on the title and dealing with several structures, are a form of artistic expression of revolt with everything that is surrounding contemporary Brazilian society. the revolt is justified by the standards imposed and placed on a "normative" pedestal (even in writing), the way in which mental disorders are treated, prejudices (racial, homoaffective and gender), by the time cut off from our days (that's why the title is empty and minuscule), by machismo and femicide. WRITTEN WITH THE COLLABORATION OF FABIANA M. T. PRADO
