“A letter written by Margaret Thornton to her cousin Edith Lennox may be something banal, but not in this story, which exposes fragments of her married life with John Thornton and reveals the secrets that were hidden inside her heart. The author presents this story with impeccable writing and authentic fidelity to the characters. If you call yourself a fan of North & South, you should definitely take some time out of your day to read this delicate work, as I'm sure you won't regret it!”
