The seventeenth of May, two thousand and eight. The night shift team celebrated the acquittal of a very dear colleague and friend after a turbulent period. Warrick and the rest of the team faced hell involving a terribly elaborate conspiracy; but they managed to cross it and deserved a moment to celebrate. A new beginning, a new era had begun for Warrick and the team. It was CSI Brown's opportunity to start over; nothing better than doing it with the support of his friends and, mainly, of his supervisor and biggest reference: Grissom. However, all of that changed overnight. Early in the morning, each one said goodbye. Most of them decided to go their own way, except one. This one didn't come home that day.

The initial shock of seeing Grissom in such a fragile moment makes us question every moment whether the supervisor will be able to win.
