Barney Stinson's Unlegendary Factor

Synopsis

I followed Neil Gaiman's idea of creating a tale about a character who didn't have the best possible ending. And that character is Barney Stinson. How I Met Your Mother is among my favorite series. I finished it in 8 months and even today, whenever I can, I review it. I really like the characters and I think they have more than just comedy to present and that's something that I consider very well done in the series. I hated the ending that Barney won. I thought it went against everything he had learned and that the very end of the episode tried to fix it, but it got even worse. And of course, from then on, all his plans go awry and turn into a big tangle of confusion.

Luke served in the army for 15 years. And of those 15, none of them took a vacation long enough to visit family. And the family didn't give much news. So he faints when he meets the guy who claims to be the daughter's husband, but that's just the beginning. He simply discovers that he has three children, the fruits of a night of fun before serving in the army. Now, with his nerdy son, his rocker and antisocial son, his bullied daughter, his married daughter, his son-in-law, his parents, his brothers and some neighborhood acquaintances, Luke finds himself in different situations in who wouldn't wait for a life in a royal family. Smart, humorous and with doses of realism, The Luke Family is the prose version of American sitcons and also shows us how much family is necessary in a person's life.
