A Pequena Sereia

The wedding invitation in Jacob's hands weighed more than a rock, even if it was just a piece of paper. Everything was over. The woman he had always loved would marry, leaving him completely hopeless. And once again, he got away. La Push beach had always been his refuge and, of all the members of the tribe, the wolf just didn't expect him to come across one of the most beautiful and mysterious creatures he had ever seen in his entire life. The fragile and dead body on the edge of the beach denounced that it was the end for the girl. Mermaids have been around since the beginning of time, but it's never been proven, just like wolves. Jacob had never seen one, until now. And then, in a surprising act, the redhead raised her torso, scared, pouring a good amount of water, which until then was keeping her unconscious, meeting the eyes of the brunette in front of her, as surprised as she was. What they both thought was the end could just be the beginning.
You know that Little Mermaid story you know? I'm sorry, but it didn't go well that way.
