A story that will travel through centuries accompanying vampires with their loves and anguish that immortal life can bring. A story of OC's, based on the clans and setting of Vampire, The Masquerade.
Well, I've never written a story before, but I've always imagined a lot of them. I still don't know where this one will take me, but I liked some ideas I had and I want to share. As I have little time, it will be developed in very short stretches. This first one is just the character description. I'm basing myself on the Game of thrones scenario, but not necessarily on the characters, I intend to use some of them, just so I don't need to describe their basic characteristics, and maybe, I'm still not sure, a little more fantasy, I'm a fan of WhiteWolf's settings, maybe werewolves and changelings will come around (no vampire!). As I'm very anxious, I couldn't wait to publish, I want feedback to know if readers like this style, and thus have an intensive to continue. If all goes well, I intend to write every day. Hope you like it!
(Vampire: Dark Ages, Vampire: The Masquerade expansion) Violette is a Cappadocia. The clan of the dead who study Death... She would like to stick to only that and disconnect from everything that is animated or alive, but, as always, everything conspires for her peace. be disturbed. Those who should be dead come back, and those who shouldn't be, haunt her. And, on the way to the truth, perhaps the biggest obstacle is herself.
"Well... I'm Vicky, but I'm not always Vicky... sometimes I'm someone else, like that, out of nowhere; everything changes: my character, my gestures; my disgusting fragility, my persistent childishness and my hypocritical innocence. Did I mention my name is Vachel?” Victoria had everything she wanted: a family, a heart, a sound mind, a life; all destroyed by fire in one night. What she didn't expect was to have a second chance...... and a second personality.
Europe, mid-11th century. Amidst the First Crusade and the horrors of the Dark Ages, an ancient and long-forgotten diabolical sect called Orvalium resurfaces from the shadows. Its purpose and existence as well as its leader, Gabriel, are a total mystery to both mortals and vampires alike. But what about when these goals become clear to the point where you want to forget what you've heard or take refuge in collective ignorance? How much do you want to know about the truth, or rather, how much is it safe for sanity to know? This is the basic premise for the presentation of Catherine Halford, a powerful English Countess who constantly suffers from inexplicable outbreaks. These outbreaks hark back to her past, but specifically the day she died to her old life. The only one who may have the answers is Christian, a vampire noble who serves as his sire, his gateway to vampiric life, who is fighting in Jerusalem at Alexander's behest. But what to do when these outbreaks become more frequent and uncontrollable? What if everything has a connection, his past, Christian and his mysterious round trip to Jerusalem, the arrival of unexpected guests and a forgotten war that has been going on for centuries? ~~~ I appreciate and ask for reviews, suggestions and criticisms as long as they are constructive and not offensive, after all, no one starts without learning and making mistakes and reviews are the best way to know if there is something to improve or if it is worth continuing to write the story. Thanks and happy reading! (If anyone will ever read this @~@). Note 1: This is a story to support a Vampire: Dark Ages (Vampire Add-on: The Masquerade) RPG table that I am a part of as a GM and which eventually got so big that I ended up writing too much, so ended up becoming the "story of the meeting of the parents". Note 2: For players, this is support material. I would never make it mandatory. Feel free to disagree with something about your parents described here that don't match the descriptions given by you or don't read, because reading or not will influence nothing in the chronicle.
In this first book, we will know about the beginning of everything. How Amadeus and Eribert became associated vampires, and how a group of genius neonates, led by them, fell into darkness, eternally, meeting their final death.
The World of Darkness is much darker than we can imagine. And much more dangerous too... It's only when we take our first steps into it that we notice the real stuff it's made of: Fear. And yet it shares space within our own world. He's outside, and he appears just after the sun goes down. Its creatures walk the same streets as humans, and often live among them without realizing it... It's an unwelcoming place for ordinary people who decide to enter this world. And much less for those that are thrown into it. Lyllian belongs to this second group... Now she must learn the secrets to survive in the Darkness, being forced to live with her greatest terror: the Night.
