Peeta Mellark e Katniss Everdeen pareciam destinados a ficar juntos. Qual seria a melhor escolha? É possível mudar o passado? Existe uma escolha sobre isso? Ou seria apenas um sonho na véspera de Natal?
In the middle of Christmas nobody deserves to work, but Peeta Mellark doesn't care about that since her friend didn't invite him to celebrate the date. Katniss is forced to work together with her friends and only then does she realize who is to blame for having to work on the happiest day of the year. It's entirely her fault.
On a sad and melancholy Christmas Eve, Katniss receives an unexpected visitor, and in the course of the visit discovers everything she wants for Christmas that year.
[ONE-SHOT] For Peeta Mellark, Christmas meant sitting in front of the fireplace and sipping his whiskey, alone. However, her plans are totally changed as soon as Mags Odair, Peeta's sweet neighbor and friend, invites him to spend Christmas with her family. But, the famous night of the gift exchange becomes a martyr for Peeta as soon as he catches his eye with Mags's niece Katniss Everdeen. This year, the good old man will bring much more than a package bought in a store.
It had everything to be a typical Christmas night with his family that hadn't been together for so long. However, by the time Katniss was a stone's throw away from burning the main course of Supper, she should have already suspected that it would all go astray. Especially when her boss decided to dump his wife and showed up at her house to play with her under the sheets.
Maybe for you there is a tomorrow. Maybe there are a thousand or ten thousand tomorrows. But for some of us there is only today, now. And it's surreal how time passes so quickly, how people constantly come in and out of our lives. It's all so delicate, resembling that little flower in the woods called a dandelion. All it takes is a random breath, in any direction, and everything falls apart. That's why we should never miss the opportunity to tell those we love how much they mean to us, because in an hour, minute, or even seconds everything can change and then it's too late. Because life is just that, this contrast between everything and nothing, and we are mere actors in this play without rehearsals, with little audience and an uncertain ending. — I love you. he declared and Katniss's eyes filled with such intensity that those three little words left Peeta's lips. — I love you too… — she murmured against the blonde's lips — And that's enough to make me happy. Moments. Our life is a collection of moments... And each of them is a journey to the end.
